to me, playwriting is...
envisioning a future communing, of ideas and people in shared creation (art, community, etc.)
obliteration of (my)self into something more whole
I (they/them) am a playwright based in Duwamish Territory (Seattle). I'm a child of Vietnamese/Chinese immigrants. I'm a proud resident playwright with the Seattle playwriting group, Parley. My writing has been workshopped with Pork Filled Productions, Karen’s Secret Army, Theatre Battery, and the Undergraduate Theater Society. In the next year, I will be a 2020-21 Hugo House Fellow and have work supported by 4Culture and Seattle Office of Arts and Culture. I'm also an arts administrator with Washington Ensemble Theatre, passionate about educational equity, and on the side, I like to watch movies, revel in hopeless romanticism, pet cats, and eat bread.
I'm grateful for having somehow convinced the world I can read and write.
